Ajudar Os outros perceber as vantagens da Placa Mãe MSI MEG Z490 ACE

The main audio chipset is similar fare: solid, but no surprises. Just like essentially every half-decent motherboard today, the MEG Z490 Ace relies on Realtek’s ALC1220 codec. This chip performs reasonably well, with an SNR of 120dB, but it’s only used here for the rear audio jacks on the motherboard.

A slick-looking premium board for 10th Gen Intel, the MEG Z490 Ace has an attractive feature set and wise PCB arrangement, but issues with the firmware suggest waiting for some patching-up, especially considering the price.

At idle, temps hung in the 30s. Even though these temps were fairly low, however, the motherboard frequently pushed the AIO cooler's fans to run full blast. This occurred during all stages with and without Game Boost enabled. The fans did occasionally slow down, but this was only for a moment, and would ramp up again soon.

It's also a lot less expensive, at a bit more than half the Z490 Godlike's price, but it delivers, with smart board design and a meaty complement of I/O. That said, early fumbles we had with the BIOS suggest that most MSI-loyal shoppers will want to wait for a patch or two, and see how this board fares in em linha forums before committing to the full $400 monty.

After all that, the software does appear to be somewhat useful, but I can’t help but be bothered by MSI not giving you the full program from the start.

I see, I thought you were talking about the classic solid black caps but yeah, you're right (just found out of Buildzoid's latest breakdown) those nice and extra poscaps are Panasonic:

These lights help to spice up the overall appearance of the board. The lights can be controlled via the motherboard’s BIOS, or, alternately, by MSI’s in-Windows Dragon Center software.

These heatsinks can all be removed independently, which is helpful and makes adding or removing M.2 SSDs easier.

There are plenty of enthusiast-focused tools on the PCB itself and you get power and reset buttons, an LED POST code display, eight fan headers.

Overclocking MSI MEG Z490 ACE was painless and let our 5.2 GHz Core i9-10900K CPU run to its thermal limits. The automatic overclocking worked well, too, but overvolted slightly compared to our manual result; that seems to be the theme with the Z490 boards we’ve tested so far. The monster 16-phase VRM easily handled the CPU at these speeds.
